It looks really nice, but the gameplay doesn't look that appealing and the amount of text you need to go through to actually play at all, is way, way too high. If you want to rope players in, I'd say create a tutorial that combines instructions with actual gameplay. Good luck on your projects!

ClaritasRPG responds:

Hello, thanks for the feedback, I've shortened the tutorial.

And the same for this one. Consider publishing them as Movies instead.

Spectrum883 responds:

It'd be removed off the movies place because it's not a movie, it's scratch.

Nice work, but it's not a game

Took a while to really get the hang of, and there's absolutely some luck involved, but playing patiently and placing as many markers as you can before clicking open the next field, going down to 0 hearts before healing/leveling as as much as possible and eventually knowing what monsters you want to find a.s.a.p. and hunting them down makes for a pretty controlled experience on most tries. Jorge!

The admiration for 'Slay the Spire' is palpable, and replacing the cards with dice is an interesting - and sometimes frustrating - mechanic. But I love the way you made it work. Keep it up!

MadNukin responds:

Thanks and it's one of my favorite games of all time.

Miroko responds:

Thanks, we did take a lot of inspiration from 'Slay the spire'. I think of it more like replacing the mana with dice and the cards with weapons you equip.

Haha, ok so the game is pretty basic, but the collected artwork is magnificent - and thanks for featuring mine! I'd say move on to the sequel with some expanded gameplay elements, you definitely have the gameplay and artwork down.

Fish125 responds:

Glad you like it, we're hoping to be able to rollout an update or 2 with more features

This holds a lot of promise, but the controls and the user interface - pardon my Dutch - are really crappy. If you can capture that roguelike feel through more subtle controls and a more informative UI, you'd really be on to something here...

Matty77 responds:

Thanks....I'm not exactly sure how to fix the UI/Controls - I'm not that good at picking up what's quite wrong with it...and I'm used to it (problem with being a solo dev sometimes) - but I'll think on it.

Well... It works. But the visuals are poor, the music gets annoying real fast, investing in better clicks is completely worthless, the game is completely broken once you get infinite kromer and there's nothing adding to the game in terms of story, goal, background or originality. The engine works. Now go out there and make a game with it!

friskveryfresh123 responds:

thanks for the feedback!

Hahaha, this is a lot of fun, but for all the wrong reasons :S
Once you click about 3 things, the game just takes off without you, playing random scene after random scene, even continuing after it tells you it's game over, multiple layers of text pasted on top of one another, multiple instances of the character on screen. I had a great laugh, but unfortunately I can't call it a game.

This could be a nice game, but obviously this is only a control test. Add some music, some sounds and do a complete level, then try again. You'll get there.

I2ustySpork responds:

Thank you -- I am going to release a game soon and this is a simple test. Hope it runs well!

Never half-ass two things.
Whole-ass one thing.
