Nice piece, atmospheric and rhythmic. Did you record anything percussive, or is it all samples?

libbyshimmz responds:

I want to say the gun sounds were recorded from TimeSplitters 2, but they could have also come from Counter Strike.

Wow, fits the theme seamlessly - the choice of samples combined with the chord progressions work like a charm

Love the freakishness of all the rhythms leaning into each other without rendering the composition incomprehensible. Big, big kudos.

Karabast responds:

thanks for the review! :)

Not really my cup of tea, but boy is this well made. Only thing I can point out is the lack of dynamics for large parts of the song, with just about every sound struggling to be the loudest. A little less could be a lot more there.

Awesome composition. Great interaction between instruments.

Your piano pieces are awesome, this one in particular - great atmosphere, melancholy feel, great division of the notes over the stereo field. Keep 'em coming.

Great mood, good recording/mix quality - piece of film score right here.

Great stuff; voices, fx and music go hand in hand, good quality audio. Room for improvement is in the details (vocal effects, compression/limiting, recording techniques)

KindaDrake responds:

Thank you for the critique! I'm somewhat out of my environment at the moment (I'm recording in a hotel room) but I really want to still my audio as professional as possible. I'll try to work on those for future recordings.

Great voice range and fun concept to boot.

Evil-Iron responds:

Thank you :D

Never half-ass two things.
Whole-ass one thing.
