Pretty good stuff! Big Weezer vibe, although the mix sounds a bit... I don't know, empty. Can't really put my finger on it. Maybe it's because the Weezer in it is so strong, I miss the wall of guitar sound that's generally in their songs.

wobwobrob responds:

I think we were going for subtlety. Just a quirky little indie pop band. Only 3 of us and I'm not the best guitarist so I'd never reach Weezer's quality of sound.

I do love Weezer though. I currently play bass in a Weezer cover band called Geezer! We were due to play Camden Underworld for Halloween but COVID 😑😑

Very triphop, including the melancholy feel - add some vocals into the mix and you'd have a total killer on your hands

Thanks for your thoughts :)

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH DAT GUITAR
The dirty, grimy wall of distortion with the semi-dissonant chords and the band-saw-like attack <3 <3 <3

EDIT: OHSHITOHSHIT AND THEN THE SOLO KICKS IN *o*

Great production, mate - lot's of stuff going on in there, but it's all balanced and supporting each other and expertly mixed. Big up.

SkankyMojo responds:

Wow thank you!

Ok, this screams video game and no two ways about it - I'd say something mobile. Nice melody and great choice of melodic instruments. The added live guitar brings in a beautiful extra dimension. Only thing that stands out are the drums: rhythms are great, but the choice of samples somehow seems... off. As if you're sourcing melody and rhythm from two different operating systems, if you know what I mean. Especially the snare sounds very sharp and a little outdated in comparison to the melodic parts. But very good en result either way. [R4R]

Very impressive (especially now that I know how you made it :D )
Do an original track like this and the scale may end up needing another star...

Amazing tension

Nice piece, atmospheric and rhythmic. Did you record anything percussive, or is it all samples?

Libby-Shimmz responds:

I want to say the gun sounds are recorded from Timesplitters, but they could have also come from Counter Strike.

Wow, fits the theme seamlessly - the choice of samples combined with the chord progressions work like a charm

Love the freakishness of all the rhythms leaning into each other without rendering the composition incomprehensible. Big, big kudos.

Karabast responds:

thanks for the review! :)

Never half-ass two things.
Whole-ass one thing.
