This always makes me laugh a lot harder than it has any right to :)

AntiDanty responds:

that's what im trying to do make people happy!

Love this concept, two half-baked evil minions going through typical office issues (we've all had a co-worker who only counted off the days to the weekend at some point, thanks for the motivation, Fred). Visually speaking, the setting is pretty spot on as well, but the end result is too static to be convincing. There's no (subtle) movement of the characters heads or other body language when they're speaking (or listening), and the voice acting veers toward monotone at points where it should be more passionate. If you can use these two tools to better support your story, you have a killer concept on your hands.

NorthStream responds:

Hi there thanks for the input. Its a fun concept to work with. Some time after making this episode (I think in November) I started using video reference. My goal it not too have movie standards of animation but rather more tv standards of animation as these differ greatly because of budget and time which is what I am working towards improving. Thanks again

Seems like you made the right choice chasing your dream. Keep up this level of work and I'm pretty sure you'll be picked up on sooner rather than later.

PawPawGreg responds:

Most appreciated... seems work has slowed down. :-( I'm also unemployed at the moment

Nice integration of both media. Is the camera displacement from shot to shot intentional? I think it's a bit distracting. Other than that, quite some potential here.

Drews-Cartewns responds:

Hey Thanks! Yeah the displacement wasn’t intentional, but I tried to slightly move it as Rollie was backing up, kinda like a tracking motion. I had a difficult time trying to stabilize the camera, (probably because I filmed it on my bed, and with my smartphone)
But in the videos since I have been using my tablet, and a table which seems to work a bit better. I’ll be sure to share it sometime soon, once I get permission. (they feature some of my artist friends.) Thanks for the feedback! I still need some practice of course, so your critique is very much appreciated!😁

Edit: I think I wanted to try to simulate a home video camcorder with the shaking, because I moved my animated sona along with it, but I can see what you mean by how it can be distracting. 👍

Mediocrejoker responds:

Thank you! Checking them out now. Much appreciated.

Very moving. Awesome combination of visuals, sound and music.

SealOfTheParty responds:

Thank you!

If Postal 3 were made with the Fallout 3 engine...

AntiDanty responds:

true

This is possibly a pretty decent criticism, but the recording quality of the voice-over makes it very hard to want to listen to. I'd suggest taking a couple of steps to improve that first, I think it's currently the Achilles heel of your work. Feel free to drop me a message if you want advice.

AndriuxDev responds:

Always open to hear any advice. What are the details I should improve?

It's not the kind of series I'd watch, but the quality is ace.

CelestaleSeeds responds:

Thanks for the kind words

Nice work! What setup do you use for recording the voices? Seems like you're catching a lot of reflections from the recording room in your mic, making the voices sound further away than the animation suggests the characters are.

JourdanBarnett responds:

Thank you. In terms of the sound, my setup needs to change. It's set up on far on my desk close to the wall and it doesn't have any material to absorb the sound. I need to get that fixed.

Never half-ass two things.
Whole-ass one thing.
