Speaking as a voice actor, the production skills on the voices alone are amazing - not to mention how they line up with the changes in Mr. Kitty's face. Then add the rest of the bizarro visuals on top of that.... man!

Thank you! The voice was created using a text-to-speech program. I tend to roll with whatever mispronunciations and artifacts it provides. I raise its pitch in audacity for the wide-eye persona, and I layer in a deeper voice for the spider eyes, drop the tempo a bit for everything (especially sauce face), and I use a compressor to boost the quiet parts of speech. Animating the face/body in opentoonz requires several passes for its different components, and the special effects took six renders in davinci resolve, with the last one being for sound effects, subtitles, and music. This one took about two full days, which is way more than I normally spend. The side character sounds were from Freesound with customization. Glad you enjoyed it!
